Providence Alaska Medical Center would like to share our quality measures with you. On this website you will find information and resources regarding our quality performance and practices, along with information from our patients about their experience with us.
This is not all of the quality data that we track and we will continue to add and update this information on a regular basis. You will find links to additional resources on each page and we encourage you to read more about our quality measures. Where it is possible we will provide comparative data from national sources.
Core Measure Sets
The goal of the core measure sets is to minimize data collection efforts for these common measures and focus efforts on the use of data to improve the health care delivery process.
Patient Satisfaction
We ask patients about their experience with us through Press Ganey and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) Survey.
In an effort to be transparent with you:
- We will not decide what to post based on how it might make us look.
- We will post both good and poor results equally.
- We follow national guidelines for defining metrics and collecting data.
