Chains of CaringChains of Caring are small pieces of construction paper links that are sold for a donation of 25 cents each to help Alaskan children being treated for cancer.
Throughout September, as The Children’s Hospital at Providence recognized National Childhood Cancer Awareness, participating classrooms sell paper links to be linked as one school chain.
Children's Miracle NetworkChildren's Miracle Network (CMN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children by raising funds and awareness for 170 non-profit children's hospitals throughout North America.
Friends of the Providence Cancer CenterFriends show an unwavering annual commitment to the compassionate services provided to all Alaskans at the Providence Cancer Center. Funds raised are distributed to cancer support services programs like patient navigation, Susan Butcher Family Center, and a healing arts program.
Guardian AngelMany patients are touched by the compassionate care of Providence staff and volunteers who take the extra step or go the extra mile to make a health care journey easier. The Guardian Angel Program recognizes those who go above and beyond in caring for a patient.
Helping Hands - Employee GivingSince 2003, through the Helping Hands employee giving program, employee contributions have literally touched the lives of countless patients and their loved ones.
Kash 4 KidsCommunity support from this annual event helps ensure that our kids will receive the best care possible right here in Alaska. One hundred percent of donations made to Children’s Miracle Network during the KASH for Kids radiothon go to care for Alaska’s kids and support the services provided at The Children’s Hospital at Providence.

Red Wagon SocietyThe Red Wagon Society is being created so members can help mobilize services for the children of Alaska. Through an annual commitment to the Red Wagon Society, members support The Children’s Hospital at Providence.
The Mother Joseph SocietyMembers of the Mother Joseph Society provide annual support for significant projects that advance the medical care and services at Providence facilities in Alaska. Minimum annual investments of $1,000 or more generously provide for continued medical advances and quality care.
The Legacy Society
To recognize families and individuals who have placed the Providence Alaska Foundation in their will or estate plan, we have established The Legacy Society. Donors who make a bequest or provide for other estate gifts through gift annuities, trusts, or other planned gifts are invited to an annual event and recognized for their dedication to our mission in our annual report.
