Providence Health & Services Alaska moved its Mat-Su services to a new location along the Parks Highway in Palmer. The new building consolidates Providence’s existing Valley services – family medicine, behavioral health and laboratory services – in one location for the convenience of the Mat-Su community.
Providence Mat-Su opened Nov. 19 at 2250 S. Woodworth Loop next to Imaging Associates of Providence.
Family MedicineProvidence Matanuska Health Care offers preventative care, maternity care, pediatrics, acute and chronic disease treatment, physician services and onsite lab.
Behavioral Medicine
Providence Behavioral Medicine Group offers care for anxiety, mood disorders, grief issues, depression, bipolar illness, post traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, adjustment problems and seasonal affective disorder, as well as marriage and family, parenting and group therapy.
Laboratory Services
Providence Mat-Su Laboratory Patient Service Center offers onsite phlebotomy services and daily courier service to local providers for specimen pickup and processing.
