Providence Medical Group Pediatric Subspecialties
Alaska's remoteness can make it hard to access medical specialists. In the past, this meant costly travel outside the state, with no guarantee that the specialist and your doctor would work together on follow-up treatment. Today, children with complex health problems receive premier care right here in Alaska.
The Children's Hospital at Providence
is proud to offer you a growing number of sub specialty outpatient clinics. At the Children’s Hospital at Providence, we realize the need and importance of receiving quality sub- specialty pediatric healthcare for your child close to home.
Most children with special healthcare needs can find excellent care using our network of providers. Some of our specialists visit regularly from
Swedish Medical Group
Seattle Children's Hospital
Oregon Health Sciences University
Families who need to be seen by the Seattle or Oregon specialists can schedule appointments for evaluation, assessments, and treatment recommendations through the pediatric sub specialty clinic. If your child needs care in Seattle or Portland, we will coordinate with those hospitals.
