The Nursing Boutique & Clinic
The Nursing Boutique is a wonderful oasis of hard to find products and advice to help along the journey of parenthood. We carry a large selection of nursing bras in every size, the complete line of Medela products including breastpumps, Bravado bras, preemie clothing, Motherlove herbal supplements, baby slings, Ergos, Mai Tais, nursing clothes, useful books and more. Stop by, have a cup of tea and check out the boutique. Hours are Monday - Friday 10-6 pm and Saturdays 10-4 pm. We are located in the A tower, suite 150 at Providence Alaska Medical Center. Before your baby is bornPlan on attending one of our monthly "
Breastfeeding 101" classes. This class, taught by a certified lactation consultant, will teach you what you need to know to get breastfeeding off to a great start.
In the delivery room
Our Labor & Delivery nurses are trained to help you with your baby's first feeding.
On the Mother-Baby unit
Our Mother-Baby nurses are all trained to help you with breastfeeding around the clock.
One of our Board Certified Lactation Consultants can check in to see how breastfeeding is going for you. They work 7 days a week (except major holidays) from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Come to
Cuddlers - the parent/baby group that meets every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday (the Saturday group does not meet during the summer months) from 12-1 pm in the Maternity Center Classroom in the Heritage South Building. It is Entrance #5. This is a great place to meet other moms, dads and babies and learn from everyone's experiences.
