Laboratory
The laboratory offers extensive diagnostic testing services on-site. In-house tests include kidney, hepatic, cardiac and metabolic panel, therapeutic drug, hematology and coagulation monitoring.

 

Lab Tests on Demand is a program offering your choice of wellness testing. No provider order is required and you don’t need an appointment-just drop in anytime during business hours. Ask the front desk at PSMCC for an order form, select your tests and pay the fee; your lab results will be mailed to you within one to three days.

 

Specialized Testing
Specialized testing is sent to Providence Alaska Medical Center via daily morning courier. The lab also conducts legal drug urinalysis collections that are scheduled throughout the week.

 

Radiology
The radiology department provides x-ray, mammography, CT scans, ultrasound exams, bone density and including vascular and arterial Doppler.

 

Teleradiology
Through teleradiology, we transmit films to Providence Alaska Medical Center where radiologists interpret the films. Requests from outside providers are welcomed.
