Free pancakes at IHOP March 8 to support The Children’s Hospital at Providence
March 07, 2016
Anchorage, AK –
Anchorage area IHOP restaurants will offer each guest a free short stack of their famous buttermilk pancakes on National Pancake Day, Tuesday, March 8. This family-friendly tradition aims to raise needed funds and awareness for The Children’s Hospital at Providence, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
For every free short stack of buttermilk pancakes served on National Pancake Day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., IHOP guests are invited to make a voluntary donation to The Children’s Hospital at Providence. Since 2006, IHOP National Pancake Day has raised about $20 million to provide life-saving treatment, programs and medical equipment for child patients — including the 18,000 children treated annually at The Children’s Hospital at Providence.
The following IHOP locations are participating in National Pancake Day:
- 501 East Tudor Road, Anchorage
- 1106 North Muldoon Road, Anchorage
- 11100 Old Seward Highway, Anchorage
- 1890 East Parks Highway, Wasilla
Miss Alaska titleholders will be available to visit with guests at the Tudor Road location from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
