Extra Life livestream event raises money for The Children’s Hospital at Providence

Celebrity gamers, Alaska Children’s Miracle Network champion to take part in 24-hour gaming marathon

ANCHORAGE, Alaska –  The Children’s Hospital at Providence will host a livestream gaming event as part of the fundraising program Extra Life at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8.

Celebrity gamers Rick and Lisa Malambri and other surprise guests will play video games along with Marc, the 2016 Alaska Children’s Miracle Network champion, live from the pediatric playroom in The Children’s Hospital at Providence.

Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world in a 24-hour gaming marathon to support Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. This fundraising program has raised more than $22 million for local CMN hospitals. Gamers raised more than $100,000 for The Children’s Hospital at Providence during last year’s event.
