Become a volunteer

Do something to help finish cancer
Whether a cancer supporter or survivor, you have something to give. Volunteering is a meaningful way to share your experience and help others through theirs.

Volunteers are part of the heart and soul of Providence Cancer Center. While we have a tremendous staff of dedicated caregivers, volunteers round out the support with a personalized approach to each patient.

What can you do?
As a volunteer, you might find yourself working in the BP Cancer Resource Center or driving patients to their medical care as part of the Road to Recovery program. You might help boost a patient’s self-image through the Look Good, Feel Better class. We have many volunteer opportunities, so let us know what interests you, and we’ll look for something that’s a match with your skills and interests.

We want patients to get the most out of their relationships with our volunteers, so we offer formal training for all volunteers through Providence Volunteer Services and the American Cancer Society.

Are you ready?
