We offer classes before your surgery to help you prepare and home health services afterward to help with your recovery when you leave the hospital. We also offer a highly experienced staff and specialized care.

  • Customized joint program patient rooms on our dedicated orthopedic unit
  • A designated rehabilitation area to better assist post-operative treatment

After surgery:

  • Coordinated services with physical and occupational therapists

Joint Camp Class

When you’re preparing for a joint replacement, we want to make sure you know what to expect. We’re here to answer your questions and educate you and your family about the procedure and your recovery.

If you are scheduled to have knee or hip replacement surgery, please plan to attend our 1½-hour class.

Your surgeon and therapists will guide your rehabilitation and teach you exercises that will aid your recovery. We also make several videos available that can be helpful. They show you the proper technique for performing your exercises and are a great resource when you’re exercising without your therapist there by your side.

Hip replacement exercises

Your surgeon or therapist may recommend these exercises if you have hip replacement surgery. Be sure to do only the exercises your care team recommends. If you still have questions after watching the videos, don’t hesitate to ask us.

Knee replacement exercises

These videos demonstrate exercises that may be helpful if you have knee replacement surgery. Be sure to follow your care team’s recommendations regarding which exercises you do and how often. Your therapist or doctor will be happy to help if you have questions.
