We provide monthly Breastfeeding 101 classes through Parenting with Providence. We also offer the only outpatient lactation clinic in Anchorage where board-certified lactation consultants can help you successfully breastfeed your baby.

Get fitted for a nursing bra

If you plan to breastfeed, it’s a good idea to purchase a nursing bra around the 38th week of pregnancy or whenever your current bra no longer fits well.

When you’re ready to go shopping for a bra, our specially trained experts can help. Our bra fitting professionals want you to have a nursing bra that fits and feels comfortable.

Once you have your measurements, they’ll help you find the type of bra that suits your needs. We have one of the widest nursing bra selections in Alaska – relaxed fit, T-shirt, lined, underwire, non-wire, sports and sleep – in cup sizes C-O.

Our nursing bras are designed to be comfortable, so you can wear them during pregnancy, while you’re breastfeeding and beyond. We recommend having a minimum of three to five in your wardrobe so you can always have one ready to wear.
